PBC: Davis vs Roach
Live Production, Sports, Broadcast
This event marked Kwokman Productions’ first PBC fight night in Brooklyn—and our first major boxing production at the iconic Barclays Center. With a sold-out crowd of over 19,000 and national attention on the controversial title bout, our team was tasked with executing an extraordinary broadcast in a brand-new venue environment.
Production Highlights:
Transitioned from Las Vegas to New York: While our past PBC work has been based in Las Vegas, this was our debut East Coast boxing production for the promotion. It required close coordination with a new venue, updated logistics, and real-time adaptability to a different union environment and layout.
50+ Person Crew: We staffed the full broadcast operation, including camera operators, technical directors, utilities, and A2s. Our crew ensured uninterrupted coverage for the 12-round title bout, with full pre-show and post-fight coverage delivered live to DAZN and other platforms.
Fast-paced Setup: With a narrow load-in window, our crew completed setup in under eight hours—laying cable, positioning cameras, and integrating audio systems with the venue’s infrastructure before a tight pre-show rehearsal block.
In-arena Coordination: Collaborated with Barclays Center event staff and DAZN broadcast partners to manage live feeds, interviews, crowd audio, and technical troubleshooting as the night unfolded.

What Made This Fight Unique (From a Production POV):
The controversial nature of the match demanded heightened coordination between the broadcast truck and commentary team to address shifting narratives in real time.
With Roach’s surprising performance and the controversial ninth round moment where Davis took a knee—never ruled a knockdown—our crew ensured multiple angle replays were ready for instant analysis.
The fight broke the Barclays Center’s all-time boxing attendance record, making it one of the largest-scale productions we’ve supported outside of Las Vegas.

Why It Matters:
This fight demonstrated Kwokman’s ability to pivot into new venues, scale operations to match the moment, and deliver a high-stakes, nationally viewed broadcast with zero margin for error. It set the tone for future East Coast productions and reinforced our reputation as a go-to partner for PBC’s most talked-about nights.
