SAN DIEGO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--On 11/11/11, Kwokman Productions (KP) will be assisting with the live broadcast of the first annual Carrier Classic. In this unique NCAA Men’s Basketball season opener, the University of North Carolina Tar Heels (UNC) will square off against the Michigan State Spartans (MSU) for the first time ever on the flight deck of an active United States Naval aircraft carrier; the USS Carl Vinson. This special event held on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11, 2011, will honor the heroes who have served in the United States armed forces.
The game aboard the Carl Vinson, which is scheduled to be docked at North Naval Air Station, across the bay from downtown San Diego, is the first of its kind for NCAA Basketball, the Navy and all other parties involved.
Kwokman Productions will be supporting the operations and technical management team broadcasting the Carrier Classic. This symbolic and complex event will provide Kwokman Productions a valuable opportunity to demonstrate its strength and competency in the world of live sports television.
“The Carrier Classic is going to be a challenging production that allows our company to shine,” commented Mark Kwok of KP. “We are excited to be a part of such a unique show.” The game broadcast will include 13 cameras and will be simulcast in 3D.
